01 February 2007 RELEASEPARTY
If you're in Stockholm, don't miss our releaseparty at CLUB RUBADUB, MOSEBACKE Friday March 9…we'll be playing two songs from our yet unfinished and unnamed 3rd album (the songs are called "Empire" and "Hold your peace") Internad Dread will be behind the mixing console and we'll be recording the show on 24 tracks for a possible live album - BE THERE!
16 January 2007 Official albumrelease!
Everything is finally final…through the help of legendary Swedish roots-band Kalle Baah who have been gracious enough to sign us to their own label Braah Produktion, "Who is the Enemy?" will finally be officially released here in Sweden. The distribution will be handled by Bonnier Amigo and promotion of the album to get it into the magazines, radio and TV will be done by Skiva in Gothenburg. Official releasedate is Wednesday 21 February. The album is already available for pre-booking at CDON.com and Ginza.se, so everyone living in Scandinavia at least will be able to get the album through a regular channel. (like everyone in the US can go to either ReggaeCD.com or ebreggae.com and the people in Germany can go to Irie-records.de) Also - from now on we have changed our name to URBAN TRIBE STOCKHOLM. Releaseparty for the album will be held at the Club Rub-a-dub on Mosebacke here in Stockholm on FRIDAY MARCH 9 - so if you're in the vicinity, don't miss it as we will not only play material from our two first albums but also some songs from the forthcoming, yet unnamed, album number 3. So that's quite a bit of news all at the same time! Oh, almost forgot - everyone wishing to check out our music video for "Save it for a Rainy Day" should head on over to our Myspace-page: www.myspace.com/urbantribestockholm and click the video-link. 2007 is shaping up to be a good year so far…
19 December 2006 Reviews + radiofeature
Well we have great things going on…some of which I can't mention just yet - soon come! In the meantime there are two new reviews up in the reviews-section; on from Reggae-vibes (by SoulJah) and one from Jahworks (by Ted Boothroyd) - check them out! Also in the "Gallery/Bio" section under the listing "Extras" you can now find an mp3-file of parts of the feature that Austria's most popular reggaeradioshow Ackee & Saltfish on Orange 94.0 did on us last weekend - enjoy!
